The need of automation for telecommunications firms in the modern era was stressed by Raúl García, Regional Manager of Beyond Technology’s Telcos Division, during the Mexico Connect 2024 event, one of the most significant conferences on digital transformation and connectivity in Latin America. “Can Telecom Companies Afford to Lag Behind in the Automation Race?” was the topic of discussion during his panel participation. García emphasized that the productivity and competitiveness of the industry might be greatly impacted using AI-based technology.
According to García, Beyond Technology’s artificial intelligence solutions are streamlining crucial procedures like network architecture and Wi-Fi management in data centers. “The flow of network traffic is very different today, and the requirements are becoming more specific,” he remarked. “It’s no longer just about a user needing a 1 or 10-gigabit link, but rather an increasing need for automation to handle surges in demand, such as when a customer needs to scale quickly to 400 megabits.” García claims that automating these procedures cuts down on implementation time by a significant amount and decreases errors, which leads to a reduction in support tickets from 100 to just 20.
The use of artificial intelligence to learn from network patterns and optimize service setups, making them more efficient and quicker, was another topic covered by the panel. “These advances enable more precise network management tailored to the real needs of customers, ensuring that specific requirements are met more efficiently.”
The significance of democratizing access to AI-based tools was also brought up in the conversation. “We believe that the most important thing is to democratize access to these new tools, but in a secure manner,” García noted. According to Beyond Technology, this democratization entails making infrastructural expenditures that make it easier to use particular tools and artificial intelligence models.
Raúl García’s involvement in Mexico Connect 2024 concluded by emphasizing how automation and artificial intelligence are now essential requirements for telecommunications firms to stay competitive in ever-demanding markets, rather than just options.
